Our Mission
The Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Trust aims to reach those in Nigeria and its diaspora (and over time, a wider international audience) who are passionate about the legacy of Professor Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun, the foremost African neurologist of his time, and buy into his vision for the promotion of excellence in the medical sciences in Nigeria.
The main aims of the Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Trust are:

To advance the frontiers of knowledge in the medical sciences in Nigeria

To promote and award medical fellowships and grants in the neurosciences

To endow a Benjamin Oluwakayode and Olabopo Osuntokun Chair in the area of the neurosciences at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan

To award prizes to the deserving final year graduates of medicine and designated Nigerian Medical Schools to be called Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Prize in Medicine

To award the Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Prize to the best final year student in the sciences at Christ School Ado Ekiti every year in perpetuity.
