Lectures, Prizes and Awards
The main aims of the Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Trust are:

To advance the frontiers of knowledge in the medical sciences in Nigeria

To promote and award medical fellowships and grants in the neurosciences

To endow a Benjamin Oluwakayode and Olabopo Osuntokun Chair in the area of the neurosciences at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan
-
To award prizes to the deserving final year graduates of medicine and designated Nigerian Medical Schools to be called Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Prize in Medicine
-
To award the Benjamin Oluwakayode Osuntokun Prize to the best final year student in the sciences at Christ School Ado Ekiti every year in perpetuity.
The Trustees of the B.O Osuntokun Trust have fulfilled these aims in a number of ways.
Advancement of the frontiers of the knowledge in the medical sciences in Nigeria
The Trustees have hosted since 1998 an annual memorial lecture series, with each lecture delivered to a publicly invited audience by a medical practitioner or scientific expert of the highest national and international repute. The lectures are held in the B.O. Osuntokun Auditorium, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
